College Access Intern for Futures NW

Skimboard Pool Manager for Buck's Bikes

June 2019-September 2019

  • Provided skimboard lessons and rentals to customers.

  • Managed 1 other employee.

  • Promoted the business through social media creation and attending events, increasing rental sales.

  • Coordinated events with 200+ in attendance. 

  • Helped develop plans to scale business. 

Lead Event Coordinator for DB Skimboards

June 2014-Present

  • Ran skimboarding camps, teaching around 30 kids a session. Profits doubled once I took on this opportunity..

  • Managed website and social media accounts, increasing to a reach of over 50k.

  • Performed marketing tactics such as sales calls and canvassing.

  • In charge of software programs used for bookings and liability waivers. 

  • Managed 3 other employees by training and scheduling.

  • Coordinated events by reaching out to sponsors and working with a team to facilitate a skimboarding competition with 500+ in attendance. 

  • Found opportunities to work with nonprofit organizations such as churches, summer camps, and other youth groups. 

Shipping and Receiving Manager for Origin Distribution

June 2014 - August 2018

  • Managed 4 other employees directly by training, scheduling and delegating tasks.

  • Documented a training program that was implemented and still used today.

  • Responsible for 70 orders a day, including small to large pallet shipments. Also responsible for over 500 wholesale customer accounts.

  • Restructured inventory process by coming up with a bin location system and reorganizing the warehouse.

  • Customer service with walk in customers and responding to customer emails.

Rental Operations Manager for Dash Watersports

June 2016 - September 2016

  • In charge of a rental stand business that had stand up paddle-boards, kayaks and skimboards. Broke even within two months of operation.

  • Managed two other employees by training and organizing schedules.

  • Created a point of sale making card transactions at the beach possible.

  • Communicated with the state park for permitting and partnership agreements.

  • Created a website and promotional video. 

Merchandiser for Olympic Eagle Distribution

June 2018 - July 2018

  • Drove a company vehicle.

  • Stocked shelves with over 100 products in stores across the state. 

  • Provided customer service in stores regarding the products.

  • Balanced a schedule that started at 4:30 A.M.

Grocery Stocker for Fred Meyer

September 2014 - June 2015

  • Began as a parcel keeping the store clean and making sure all carts were available to customers.

  • Moved to grocery as a stocker, responsible for all aisles. 

  • Answered all customer questions.
